There was no surprise in Ponce where 9th rankedLeonas (4-13) were defeated by second ranked Moca (13-5) 94-82 . Moca players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists. The game was also dominated by American players. Center Samantha Fuehring (191-1997, college: Louisville) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 14 rebounds. Guard Leigha Brown (185-2000, college: Michigan) contributed with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists for the winners. Center Shelby Cheslek (196-1992, college: Gonzaga, agency: LBM Management) answered with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and guard Talia von Oelhoffen (180-2002, college: USC, agency: Next Page Sports) added 19 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists in the effort for Leonas. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Leonas' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Moca have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain second place with 13-5 record behind leader Santurce. Leonas lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keep the ninth position with 13 games lost.
